Annual Meeting and bring and share lunch
A brief account and copies of the reports received at the meeting
The Annual Parochial Meeting and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting took place today. Attached is a summary of the Annual Report and Financial Statement of St Cross and a collection of reports form Church Organisations for the year ended 31st December 2007.

The meeting began with prayer.
The wardens were re-elected to serve another year, the various reports were received by the meeting. There was capacity to elect 6 members to the PCC. Four new members and one who had previously been ex-officio were elected by the meeting. The PCC were given permission to co-opt further members during the year.
It was a very positive meeting looking forward to the new era that we are entering.
In typical St Cross style, the bring and share lunch after the meeting was generously supported with an abundance of delicious food being produced. Everyone who stayed enjoyed the resulting feast and the opportunity to share the food and fellowship over a glass of wine!
