On Thursday December 5th St Cross hosted a quiz at our local pub, the Builders Arms on Mobberley Road.
The quiz was to raise funds for ‘CRISIS’, the charity supporting the homeless. All our quiz questions were related to Christmas and it was great fun. It was good that members of the wider community were able to come and support this good cause.
Thanks go to Allison one of our readers for organising this, and devising the quiz. The evening raised almost £200. Thanks also to the Builder’s Arms for allowing us to use their homely pub for the evening.
