On Christmas Eve, like many churches across the country, families and friends gathered in significant numbers to come and worship God on Christmas Eve in our beautifully decorated Church. Apart from the fabulous tree donated by a parishioner, we also had the Christingle Orange ready to be decorated by the children, with the fruits, the red ribbon, and the large candlelight on top. People gave generously and we managed to raise £517 for the Children's Society This effort followed on from our support for The Children's Adventure Farm Trust with our Toy Collection, and precedes our Lent Appeal Coffee Morning on Saturday March 9th from 10am - 12noon. We are supporting ToyBox (Changing the world for Street Children) and hope to raise at least £256. For more information on this appeal please read our Newsletter for February.
