“All I want is a name”
supporting TOY BOX changing the world for Street Children.
Toy box is a small British Christian Charity based in Milton Keynes, working in Bolivia, Kenya, India and Nepal, devoted to helping vulnerable children and ending the global injustice of children living and working on the streets.
These children need a birth certificate and the key focus of Toy Box is Birth Registration.
They believe every child has the right to an identity, health care, nutrition, safety and shelter, a childhood, education and future.
Our Lenten Coffee morning was wonderful occasion of generosity and fellowship, raising a magnificent
£1294.60p.
Our Mayor, Cllr. Peter Coan, and his deputy Cllr. Colin Banks, gave their time to come and support us. Throughout Lent, the staff of Sharston House Residential Home were so enthusiastic! and encouraged us all the way, raising £56 for the Appeal.
Many thanks to all who made donations to give these deprived children a new start in life with loving support.
