On Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday our long serving parishioner and former Churchwarden, Colin Maddocks, rang the bell ninety times to celebrate his 90th birthday. What an inspiration Colin is, demonstrating in 'Captain Tom' Spirit how we can all help to make the world a better place. As result of this effort Colin raised £600 in sponsorship including a donation / sponsorship of £120 from St. Cross for 'The Welcome' project in our parish. Thanks Colin for leading the way by your discipleship and example. After the service we wished Colin a Happy Birthday with Hilary singing on behalf of all of us.
