St Cross held its second annual Open Gardens event on Sunday 10th July (see the pictures in photos).
Three gardens were open to allow parishioners to come and see. We were blessed with sunny weather as you can see in the photos and some very colourful gardens. Refreshments were served at the Nairn's where people could enjoy a glass of Pimms or just a nice cup of tea and piece of cake. Those who could not stay away from Andy Murray andWimbledon were allowed to watch it on TV but did venture out later onto enjoy the gardens. All in all an enjoyable time was had and £106 raised fro church funds.
Here's looking forward to Opne Gardens 2017 when we hope to have more gardens open and a bigger event
